Regina Ferguson is an old soul for a new generation. Based in Los Angeles and born in Philadelphia, this classically trained sultry singer-songwriter is fueled by her love of soul, pop and roots-rock.
Regina released her debut album “Movin’ On” in July of 2016. She has released two music videos featuring singles from her album including “The Road” & “7th St.” Check out the videos here: Youtube
From 2012-2017 Ferguson performed as a solo artist in Charleston, playing her enticing originals on guitar and keys and playing frequently with her band at well-known clubs like The Music Farm, Charleston Music Hall, The Pour House and Royal American. She was involved in a variety of musical projects, including an acoustic guitar duo and a jazz duo and was a vocalist with Charleston Groove Factory, an event band fronted by Ben Fagan. Fagan was a co-write on Meghan Trainor’s “3am”. Trainor’s album went on to become a massively successful multi-platinum album. From 2013-2017 Regina played keyboard and sang with Fagan’s original band the Holy City Hooligans performing annually at Envision Festival in Costa Rica. This funky, rock-reggae music group has shared a bill with Sheryl Crow, The Revivalists and Xavier Rudd.
Her latest collab and feature is on “Visitors.2” by Terraphonics.
Regina’s latest self produced track is a cover of Alina Baraz and Khalid’s track “Electric”, now streaming on all major platforms.
She is now living in Los Angeles performing as a solo artist as well as fronting a 5 piece band. She has performed at The Kibitz Room, Skinny’s Lounge and Los Globos and made her debut with SoFar Sounds LA in February. She is currently writing and producing original music for her second album.
