The Zmed Brothers

If The Everly Brothers, The Smothers Brothers, Ween, and Tenacious D all had a two headed baby it would be The Zmed Brothers.

The Zmed Brothers, Dylan and Zachary, are a mandolin and guitar playing, close harmony singing, brother duo that plays both covers and originals. They echo the traditional sensibilities of acts like Simon and Garfunkel and The Everly Brothers while bringing in their own sense of modern aesthetic.

The Bird Dogs, one of their current projects, bring a genuine and youthful Everly Brothers experience to the stage. The Zmed Brothers celebrate the genetic intimacy so ever present in the harmonies created by Don and Phil. When the guitar became electric, the Everly Brothers bridged the gap between Country and Rock n Roll. With countless hits and classics, the Everly Brothers inspired bands like The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, The Kinks, Buddy Holly, and many groups that utilize the blend of two part harmony. Their career spanned three decades and continue to influence artists around the world.

The Zmed Brothers are also know for the earlier project The Janks, an LA local blues/folk/rock band.

In return, we are offering a lot of great perks, including a signed copy of the finished album, a limited edition album art poster, and even a private backyard concert for the high-rollers. Lullahis with Gracie

Lullahis with Gracie is a moniker for recent reflections by singer/songwriter, musician, and performer, Grace Joo. Consisting of enchanting vocal harmonies, guitar strums and pickin’, effects pedals, and a lifetime of love and loss in lyrics lent from one soul to the next, each performance serves to evoke an emotive and unifying human experience. With an extensive background in classical ballet and modern dance, Grace has continually reserved her passions exploring the performing arts. Whether it’s from choreographing to jazz and the music of Björk, working on repertoire with a modern dance company heavily soaked with Arvo Pärt and Meredith Monk compositions, letting loose to drum n’ bass and funk records, or heartaches with Patsy Cline, Grace’s unique style and uncanny sound is inspired by a broad creative spectrum that encompasses the essence of both past and future, nostalgia and novelty.
