JaFFer (Formally known as Fergo & The Burden) is a vibrant and highly energetic soul/rock band from Byron Bay, Australia.
Formed in 2016, they are a group of accomplished musicians led by the funky bass playing of Fergo (Luke Ferguson) whose incredibly powerful vocal range turns heads, every time.
Adding polish to the power is the versatile guitar playing of Matt Day and the sublime backbeat of drummer James Pattugalan.
This powerhouse trio is currently touring nationally and boasts an impressive working resume including Blues Fest, Woodford Folk Festival, Splendour in the Grass and the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Mik enjoys a popular solo career in Tucson and has played bass for 30 years, he has opened for No Doubt, March Fourth, and Steve Roach. Mik plays bass with the Eugene Boronow Trio in Tucson.
Lisa has been a songwriter for over 20 years, performing in duos, and as an acoustic solo artist for the last 10 years. Vocalist in local art band B4skin from 2014-18, they opened for Metalachi and Corey Feldman/Corey’s Angels.
The Bird Lords have performed at the Side Pony Express Music Festival in Bisbee AZ.
Culling from such diverse influences as Funk, RnB, Soul, and Hip Hop, to Jazz, Punk, Blues, Rock and Roll, and Americana the Bird Lords hatched their first EP in November of 2019- “Nest Egg” is available now on their bandcamp page.
Multi-media adventurers, The Bird Lords are busy writing and recording new songs, and producing videos in their studio, The Bird Nest, in Tucson, Arizona.

Isaac Irvin is a singer-songwriter. He founded the Venice Open Mic Night in 2014 and has hosted it since. He is also the lead singer and rhythm guitar player of the Latin Rock band Los Pochos.
Isaac plans to release new music both as a solo artist and with Los Pochos this year. Check out what’s already been released on any streaming platform.

I think it is pretty wild we can all play live music on opposite ends of the world and share it on Radio Venice in these Covid times where playing live shows is so rare! I’m so grateful for the opportunity and the continued support of live musicians by Radio Venice 🙂

Radio Venice is local with local acts that shoots out across the globe broadcasting high above Venice Boardwalk. It gives artists young and old a chance to be seen and heard. It’s a tough biz and RV makes it a friendlier.
