Canadian singer-songwriter Anique Granger forges songs charged with poetic imagery as well as colorful, inspiring storytelling. Her vocal stylings are soothing, disarming and inviting like a warm Prairie sky.

Her most recent album, Le ruban de la cassette (The Cassette Tape), is something of a songwriting experiment. A series of meetings, a podcast, an album and show, has turned nine stories into nine songs from this award winning talent. She widens her creative universe, revealing with authenticity and rawness the stories of people who have crossed her path.

A native of Saskatchewan, Anique Granger made her debut with the musical duo Polly-Esther. The duo recorded a total of three albums and toured the world over 10 years. However, it is her solo career that gotten Anne Granger noticed with multiple awards and industry nods.

In 2008, she released her first record, Pépins. Followed three years later, inspired by understanding love in all it’s forms with her album Les Outils qu’on a (the tools we have), produced by Rick Haworth.

Situated between country, pop and folk, she released in 2015 her forth album Aimer comme une emeute (loving like a riot), produced by Fred Fortin. Influenced by an electric vibe, this album offered up a dose of boldness in her lyrics and in her sound. Her single Inassouvie found itself in top 100 franco-radio, as well as in the top 10 of Canadian community radio stations and Stingray Music.

Anique Granger has received many Trille Or awards for her Aimer comme une emeute album (EXPORT OUEST, Best Songwriter, Best Female Artist). She has toured extensively in Canada, France, Switzerland and Belgium and continues to perform regularly, even during the pandemic.

Victor Manso is an Actor/Singer-Songwriter originally from Caracas, Venezuela. He was first on a stage at 4 years old, where he performed a song for his mother’s Venezuelan folk band. So, one could say he was born into it.

Victor went on to sing and perform as a percussionist for the folk group and many other bands while in Venezuela. He tested various styles of music during these years, including rock, punk, and latin fusion. It wasn’t until finding Irish singer Damien Rice that Victor felt he had discovered the musical style he wanted to create himself. As he began composing his first collection of original music, the latin inspiration of his upbringing transformed into the acoustic sound he uses to define himself today.

In his teen years, Victor discovered theater and there was no turning back. He went on to study and pursue acting, and has had a successful career in the industry for over 20 years. Throughout his journey in entertainment, his musical background allowed him to combine the two artforms, making him a versatile and sought after performer. However, it wasn’t until the COVID-19 pandemic hit that Victor relearned, through isolation and virtual opportunities, how deep his love for singing truly was and how much he’d missed it.

Now, Victor’s musical journey is one of reinvention and self discovery. Still, at its core the intention remains the same. He aims to share stories with an audience and unite them with the message that all of our stories are both unique and universal.
