PrincessFrank is a singer, multi instrumentalist, “One Man Rock Show”, actor, entertainer and collaborating performer from Los Angeles. He has been a driving force in the LA music scene for 20 years with a firm background in theory and etho-musicology. First studying as a drummer at the award winning Eagle Rock High School Jazz Band, then studying as a music major at Pasadena City Collage under world renowned coronet player Bobbie Bradford (of Ornette Colman and John Carter fame) Here he developed a strong vocal range, sense of timing and experimental confidence. He is known for his entertaining and dynamic performance style and engaging stage presence.

PrincessFrank is originally best known for his work as a band leader and drummer of the massive mobile jazz orchestra KILLSONIC(2000-2013). He lead them through the streets, trains and busses of Los Angeles all the way to the halls of LACMA and campus of UCLA’s Fowler Museum and Royce Hall to the stage of Walt Disney’s REDCAT for the celebrated 2010 experimental opera TONGUES BLOODY TONGES: 11 JULY 1926

PrincessFrank’s acting credits include: making his debut as the lead actor for the feature comedy “Scumbag”
(released by Freestyle Digital Media, May 2018) and winning Exceptional Emerging Artist/Best Composition at 2017 Hollywood Film Festival, winning Best Ensemble Narrative Feature at 2017 Queens World Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Actor at 2017 Philadelphia Independent Film Festival(not bad for his first film). Also this year, he starred in the feature film “Absolute Vow” as a Demon Hunter (released by Frolic Pictures)

PrincessFrank has performed as lead vocalist with the 2016/2017 “Celebrating David Bowie Tribute” shows(sharing the stage with Gary Oldman and Ewan McGregor as well as Bowie band alumni Mike Garson, Gale Ann Dorsey, Adrien Belew and Earl Slick)and the world premiere of the Ron Howard directed Beatles documentary Eight Days a Week(2016). This band featured Joe Summner and members of Paul McCartney’s touring band.

His credits also include drumming for Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Josie Cotton, The Evangenitals, and singer/song writers Dorian Wood, Holland Greco and Marissa Gomez.

His most current projects musical includes a 9 year long residency at The Thirsty Crow(as host and “One Man Rock Show”), which has led to a 2 year weekly residency as drummer for Solar Sons every Monday night at Good Times at Davey Wayne’s in Hollywood.

His vocal range is powerful, his showmanship is on point and his style remains true to the spirit of many of the icons that keep Rock ‘n’ roll alive…

Michael Gatto

Michael Gatto is a 15 year old Songwriter and Vocalist originally from Venice California. He is best known for his work as lead Guitarist of Behind The Rows, The Venice Demons and Orpheus. Michael’s big break came when he performed on Radio Venice.TV which has made him an instant global sensation. Other notable appearances were at The World Famous Mint, The Troubadour, Time Warp Records, Pablos House and The Grandview Market in Mar Vista.

He is currently studying at the Soundlife Music Academy and inspired by such greats as Black Sabbath, Fugazi, The Misfits, and Jimi Hendrix. Michael has had the honor to jam with Perry Ferrel of Janes Addiction, Sid of Slipknot and The Ambassador of Soul-Ellis Hall. On his free time Michael volunteers at a preschool in Inglewood CA where he plays guitar and sings with the young students. He is also the Founder of the Pacific Palisades Open Mic for kids held several times a year and has composed the score for two short films.

If you miss any of his shows don’t worry you can often catch him busking on Venice Beach where he has had multiple violation warnings from Neighbors and Authorities for being too loud. Hey … but thats punk isn’t it?

This is the tale of the Hawk and the Iguana. The Majestic Hawk of the Jicarilla Apache Tradition, who looks over the Apache people as a guide, protector, scout, and herald of good fortune. Traveling to and fro in a ceaseless hunt, but always returning home to his family, catch in tow for them to feast on. Then there is the Cold Blooded, resourceful, and ever-adapting Iguana, who found his way to the United States mainland from the Caribbean Islands and has made South Florida his home. Traditions take of them as rivals, but on a chance meeting in the Swamps of Miami Hip Hop, the two seemed to find common ground as they shared a smoke, and after years of parlaying, finally decided to break with traditions and show the world that at least in their case, the Sky Glider and the Ground Crawler could not only commune in peace, but could actually work together to build something that impacts families, communities, and our very own people.

NATIVE SLANG is the union of Jicarilla Apache descendant EKYM1536 of Dulce, NM, and 1st Generation Cuban American 8ch2Owens of Miami FL. It is the setting aside of stereotypes, preconceived notions based on misinformation, and ignorance, for the real-life experiences that come with daring to share life with others who might not be of the same background as you.

NATIVE SLANG is not a gimmick, it is an honoring of our individual heritage and a celebration of our ancestors over the music of the HIP HOP Culture we have adopted. NATIVE SLANG is a call to unity for all “Minorities”. A reminder that we are only Minorities if we stay divided. If we unite, there will be no stopping us.

This is our first album, NATIVE SLANGUAGE. We hope it gets you familiar with the way we sling our slang, cuz there is a lot more on the way. Get familiar with the Slanguage.

We were giving this batch of beats by the great MUTE SPEAKER of UK/Cambodia. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts because his production sent us an a journey that has formed the foundation for a life long friendship. A follow up album over MUTE SPEAKER beats is already half way completed. Now we just have to find out what Animal he wants to be for the next album cover. Salute MUTE.
