Darden

DARDEN is a family of four sisters with four powerhouse parts of vocal harmony who blend Country and Americana into a soulful pop performance. Talented singer/songwriter/musicians who play ten instruments collectively, songstresses Selah Darden, Clarah Darden, Havilah Darden and Tabithah Darden have created a distinctive original sound dubbed Alternative Americana.

While their lyrics reflect a lot of their experiences, their vocal style reflect their influences – a hybrid of Folk, Americana, Pop, Country, and Blue Grass—as well as chart toppers including the Zac Brown Band, Jon Mayer, and I’m With Her. Along with new music, they flavor their performances with covers, belting out the best of Carly Simon, Dolly Parton, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Wilson Phillips, James Taylor, and Chicago, among others.

DARDEN continue to perform several times a year to sold-out crowds at The Muckenthaler Cultural Arts Center and The Foxx Theatre, as well as the VH1 Save The Music Holiday Concert. They were headliners at the Orange County Fair in 2017, 2018, 2019 and frequently perform at the Orange County Concerts in the Park, Anaheim House of Blues, Monster Jam at Angel’s Stadium, LA Veggie Festival, Temecula Wine and Chocolate Gala, Google’s Earth Day Celebration, and Google’s Woman’s Day. In February of 2018, after the horrific tragedy at Marjorie Stone Douglas High School, the girls wrote a song and travel to Parkland, Florida, to record the song with local youth and students of MSH for the community of Parkland. While visiting Australia for the 2020 New Year, Darden wrote and record a song for the country to bring hope in their tragic loss. It’s just released recently on Spotify and YouTube, in addition to several other newly recorded songs by Darden.

Gina & Sam Leslie

Gina and Sam Leslie are siblings originally from Colorado. Gina, based out of Venice, is joined by her brother for Radio Venice as a special out-of-town guest. Raised in a bluegrass family, their music is rooted in folk and bluegrass traditions, and blends with their love of jazz, creating a unique swing sound.

Gina’s raw and sultry voice sounds like it belongs in a 1920’s speakeasy, backed by Sam’s face-melting guitar solos and solid rhythm playing is a unique combination of chemistry and sounds. They play anything from Willie Nelson to George Gershwin, giving their own twist to classic songs.
